Raw 10kW Power Output Test ⚡
Shadow Sabre 12FET controller tested on an e-bike setup under real-world load conditions.

This was not a studio demo.
No polished dyno graphics.
Just a raw field test to observe power delivery, throttle response, thermal behavior, and controller stability during a high-power run.

Shadow Sabre 12FET Brutal Test — Pushed up to 27 kW

We recently pushed the Shadow Sabre 12FET motor controller through a high-power test, reaching around 27 kW peak power.

This test was done to evaluate how the controller behaves under aggressive load conditions, especially for compact high-power EV applications where controller size, thermal performance, and phase current handling matter.

The Shadow Sabre 12FET is designed for builders working on performance-focused platforms such as:

E-scooters, e-bikes, compact EV builds, dual-motor setups, go-karts, and custom high-power projects.

This is still part of our real-world validation and early-access testing phase. More test videos, installation examples, and application-specific setups will follow.

**Shadow Sabre 12FET — Dual Motor Drive Test**

Development update from the Shadow Sabre 12FET controller platform.

In this test, we are running:

• 2 × Shadow Sabre 12FET controllers
• 2 × hub motors
• 1 × throttle input
• CAN sync harness between both controllers
• Bluetooth module for setup / monitoring

This test is mainly relevant for dual-motor electric scooter and DIY EV builders where both controllers need to respond predictably from one throttle input.

For scooter upgrades, the focus is not only peak current. The real work is in throttle behaviour, controller sync, regen behaviour, wiring layout, tuning flexibility, and thermal reliability under actual use.

We are currently preparing this platform for early-access builders and real-world validation.

This test demonstrates the controller under a high phase-current brake test condition, along with ECO / SPORT / MANIAC mode behaviour.
