As we all know, many employee working from HOME these days. for which they need internet connection to work.
I booked the Jio Air Fiber connection (NO0000YRMUQQ) on 1st April 2024, by paying Rupees 11612 for 6 month plan. The person who booked the connection was so much confident that my location and their services are as good as any other service provider. He assured me that installation will be done by next day i.e. 2nd of April and i will not face any downtime, even at any point of time i face any issue. i can call him or his manager and they will send someone to fix the issue. by seeing this much confident i booked the connection.
On 2nd, April i was waiting for call from installation however no one called me. then i called the person who booked the connection he didn't pick the phone, i messaged him but no positive response . next i called to his manager that he could help me but he was worse than his junior he told me that it was not his duty then i asked then whom i should reach for installation. he was like i don't know you can reach anyone but that not my duty and he cut the phone. even i msg him but no response.
Then i called customer care and wrote email to state level escalation they raised the case for installation on 2nd april but that day nothing happen. i called many time, msg everyone i know as i got frustrated because i don't have internet connection at my home.
on 6th April, one engineer called that he will be coming for installation. installation done but he said that connection is poor because signal strength was not good approx. -60dB (good signal should be -45 to -49 dB). he assured that i will not face any issue. the engineer was in so hurry that he not even check the services and left the site. later when i checked the internet i started seeing disconnection and buffering in network. i msg him given all the screen shot but he never come to see the issue or to fix the issue.
till now i am facing the same issue, i am not able to do work from home. i used to go my friend place in my office hours. i called multiple time to customer care escalated case as well but till now there is no fix. they open case and close by themself stating that issue fixed. but no one called me to confirm the same. i mailed to state level escalation team but same no response. even i called that person who installed the router but he is also same no positive response. i got stuck because now i have other option to reach.
i have never seen this kind of bad service and never expect this pathetic service by such a big company. they hire irresponsible person who has little bit technical knowledge. even i am working in same domain i know how issue could be fixed but its out of my scope. they schedule a person to visit and they them self cancel the schedule stating that user has rescheduled the visit. i called them and asked with whom permission engineer canceled the visit no answer though.
i want to raise this issue to higher management because i am not getting the services for what they promise, in social media and ads, seemless internet, better coverage, better performance etc. they claim max speed in air fiber as i took max plan what i am getting is 2 - 6 mbps speed which is far less that what they commit. In Bangalore their services are so poor that even they don't know who has to called and fix the issue.
as i already stuck with jio and not able to switch to other vendor, will request to escalate to higher management who can take responsibility to fix this issue ASAP.
with 6 month of package 1 month already completed without internet.
