As half of the world is set to witness the lunar eclipse, we pray that nothing eclipses the peace and harmony of the world.

As the ‘blood moon’ as it is called by the astronomers in the sky slip into darkness before opening to a full moon soon, we pray that all the minds that matter to the world are at peace and harmony.

Since eons, moon has been said to be in control of human's minds. It is not superstition as moon has significant control of the tidal waves on planet earth and our body is made up mostly of water - it is but natural for us to be controlled by natural heavenly bodies. Like how our physical life depends on sunlight, our mental life depends on moon!

Scientists across the world have acknowledged the role of the moon, also called luna in scientific terms to have an impact on the minds!

Be mindful and watchful and ensure that safety practices are always followed—whether at work, at home, or on the road.

It's not Sir. CV RAMAN''s Birthday!

All of us have seen a new discovery with our own eyes but we fail to realize it!
A new phenomenon going through the brain of a genius at the right state of his mind makes all the difference. That is what happened on THIS DAY, FEB 28th, 1928.
Almost a hundred years ago, Dr. CV Raman discovered the phenomenon of scattering of light - that discovery led to molecular structure research, understanding patterns and structures of gems and in turn invention of tools and tech that takes engineering and medical fields forward.

The contribution of pure science is such - it takes the domain of engineering, medicine and arts forward - it takes society forward through one crucial observation.

Today is not Sir CV Raman's birthday! It is a day he realized the scattering of light that led him to a Nobel honor and the coveted Knighthood!

We have a Bangalore connection!
The man who was born in Trichy, studied in Vizag and Chennai, master’s in physics in London contributing to the Indian scientific research in Calcutta to settle down and spend his last days in the peaceful city of Bengaluru's science labs. Sir CV Raman till his last day at the age of 82 was a man of highest scientific authority with findings that redefined colors and defied the things known!
