“In my view, ragwort is a pandemic in Ireland,” says inventor of the Ragweed Fork Jim O'Neill.

“Ten years ago it wasn’t too bad, but there’s no denying it’s at pandemic proportions now right across the country."

Jim says that ragweed of all sizes can be easily removed with his fork.

Did you know that planting and materials from many of the show gardens are re-located to new homes after the festival?

Some of the designers in this picture are busy ensuring planting and hard materials from their gardens are safely delivered to their final destinations over the coming weeks. Check out just some of locations below;

🌼 The Enable Ireland Respite Garden will be recreated at the charity’s Rathmore House Respite Centre in Arklow, County Wicklow.
🌼 The plants and shrubs from Aldi’s Sustainable For-est Garden will go to Barnardos locations around Dublin.
🌼 All planting and hard elements from The Shared Spaces Family Garden and The Nature Enthusiast’s Garden will be donated to the mental health charity Flourish in County Sligo.
🌼 St Michael’s House Special School in Baldoyle will have their pick of plants from the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre’s Beauty & The Beast The Musical Garden.
🌼Elements of Peter McVerry Trust’s Pathways to Home garden will be recreated at one of the charity’s homeless services in Kildare.
