Today one of our volunteer's visited Our Lady's Rathdrum 6th class to give the girl's a crash course on everything CPR.

Knowing CPR could be the difference between saving a life or not, even just knowing how to deliver effective chest compressions alone could be the difference.

A picture of recently purchased training/operational life saving equipment!

A family of training manikins along with 1 advanced airway training manikin making sure our volunteer's are kept to the highest standards of CPR.

2 operational defibrillators and emergency response bags/kits for newly joined volunteers! Each volunteer carries a defib with them ready for all eventualities.

The purchasing of this equipment wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for the ongoing support from local companies/community through donations!

Thank you once again from the Rathdrum Community First Responders group and of course our volunteers for their continued dedication and time in which they give up ❤️

A massive thank you to Rathdrum Rugby Club for their generous donation resulting from their charity hound dogs match on St. Stephen's day. Without the support from locals groups/ sports clubs we wouldn't be able to provide the vital service to our community.

Only 5 days until the annual Rathdrum RFC vs The Hound Dogs charity rumble, this year with extra 50th anniversary fanfare!

Our boys will take to the pitch on St Stephen’s to face off against the Hound Dogs with the aim of retaining the cup! Drop down for what is always a day of festive fun and camaraderie with our neighbouring clubs! All monies collected on the day will be split between Grow Mental Health and our local Rathdrum Community First Responders

Just a reminder, this weekend coming is the SMG Fitness charity bungee jump where our very own Rathdrum Responder Ryan Clarke will quite literally be taking the plunge!

Unfortunately the last date had to be rescheduled due to high winds, 🤞 for this weekend's weather!
