Meet Jonathon McGovern – Engineering Manager

Johnny joined ROCO with over 20 years of experience in the crushing, screening and materials processing industry, bringing a wealth of technical expertise and leadership to the business.

With an impressive educational background in Mechanical Engineering, complemented by studies at Smurfit Business School, Johnny combines strong engineering knowledge with strategic business insight. His experience has been instrumental in driving innovation, product development and engineering excellence across the company.

Based at ROCO's headquarters, Johnny leads our team of senior and junior engineers, fostering a collaborative environment where innovation, continuous improvement and practical problem-solving are at the heart of every project. His leadership ensures that every ROCO hybrid electric machine is designed and developed to meet the highest standards of performance, reliability and efficiency.

Johnny's passion for engineering and commitment to mentoring the next generation of talent continue to strengthen ROCO's reputation for delivering innovative solutions to customers around the world.

Meet Brian Mc Ardle, our Production & Quality Manager.

With over 10 years of industry experience and a background in process engineering and quality management, Brian plays a vital role in ensuring every ROCO machine is built to the highest standards. His focus on continuous improvement and empowering his team helps drive efficiency across our production operations while keeping an eye on the bigger picture.

At ROCO, it's our people who make the difference and we're proud to have leaders like Brian helping shape our future.

As we head into the later end of summer, ROCO will be operating at reduced capacity from 31st July to 7th August.

This annual period gives many of our production and factory team the opportunity to recharge ahead of what promises to be another busy quarter. By making the most of the bank holiday and summer break, we'll be ready to return refreshed and focused.

Our team will still be monitoring emails and responding to enquiries during this time..

When Arwin from Lekhaven first worked with our trusted Belgian dealer, Smet Rental & Machinery, it marked the beginning of something special. Following the success of working with the ROCO ICON 1100, Arwin made history in 2025 by purchasing the first ICON 1100 with recirculation to enter the European market.

That wasn't just a significant achievement for ROCO it was a milestone shared by Lekhaven, SMET Rental, and our entire team.
