Meet the Team! 👋🔧

Here's a face plenty of you will recognise, Barry Finnegan!

One of our excellent supervisors here at Hayes, Barry plays a big part in keeping the team organised, the work running smoothly and everyone on the right track. 💪

A great man to have on the team, and someone who knows a thing or two about getting the job done right.

Give Barry a wave! 👋😂

All hands on deck at Hayes! 🔥🔧

The sparks are flying and the team are getting stuck into another busy day in the workshop.

Plenty of welding, precision and attention to detail going into every stage of the job. Because when it comes to fabrication, getting the little things right makes all the difference. 💪

Serious skill, quality workmanship and a crew who know how to get the job done.

Just another day keeping things moving at Hayes. 👏

There's a lot more to quality than what leaves the workshop. 👀🔧

At Hayes, we're proud of the standards behind every project, from how we manage our work and look after our people to the quality of the finished job.

With ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and EN 1090 EXC3 certifications under our belt, we've got the systems, processes and expertise to take on some seriously complex engineering projects. 💪

And while the certificates look great on the wall, it's the work our team puts in every day that really counts. 👏

🎥 Alana gives us a closer look at what these certifications mean for Hayes and the clients who trust us with their projects.

Ever wondered what happens before the first piece of steel gets cut? 👀

A fair bit, actually.

Our in-house design and engineering teams are busy long before anything reaches the workshop.

From detailed 3D models and fabrication drawings to BIM coordination, they're helping make sure everything fits, works and is ready for the next stage.

And with our fabrication and installation teams all working together, we've got a lot more control over how a project comes together.

Good engineering starts long before the tools come out. 🔧

Another week, another project. The Hayes workshop doesn't do quiet. 😂🔥

The team are back at it, with the sparks flying and plenty of fabrication underway. 🔧

Things certainly aren't slowing down around here, and we've got some exciting projects in the pipeline that we can't wait to show you. 👀

Keep an eye on our upcoming posts. We'll be giving you a closer look at what the crew have been getting up to.

Busy workshop. Big projects. Plenty more to come. 👏

Not every job at Hayes comes with sparks flying. Some come with a set of forks. 😂🔧

Keeping a busy workshop moving means making sure the right materials are in the right place at the right time.

Thankfully, we’ve got a man for that. 👀

Just another day keeping things moving at Hayes. 👏

One roof. A whole lot happening underneath it. 👀🔧

One of the biggest strengths at Hayes is just how much we can handle in-house.
Our own fabrication facilities, skilled workforce, engineering expertise and project management teams mean we can keep a close eye on every stage of a project, from the first plans right through to delivery.

More control over quality. Better control of programme. And a team that knows exactly what’s happening at every stage. 👏

That’s the benefit of keeping the know-how in-house.

POV: you’ve been told it’s your turn in front of the camera. 👀🎬

Julian getting prepped and ready for their Hayes video debut… no pressure then. 😂

We’re getting more of the team involved as we take you behind the scenes at Hayes - sharing the people, personalities and expertise behind the work we do.

🎥 Mic on. Camera ready. Julian, you’re up!

140,000 litres. Eight metres long. And absolutely no chance of sneaking this one out the workshop door. 😂👀

The Hayes team have been busy fabricating this stainless steel tank for a pharmaceutical client, with around 8 to 10 of the crew getting stuck into the job.

Built in sections from rolled stainless steel plate, there’s plenty of fabrication, welding and teamwork involved before something of this scale is ready to leave the workshop. 🔧🔥

Big tank. Busy workshop. Just another day at Hayes. 👏

15/09/2026

Something a little special taking shape in the Hayes workshop… 👀🔥

One of the team getting stuck into a very special project we’re working on for Mayo County Council.

We can’t give too much away just yet, but there’s plenty of skill, steel and serious craftsmanship going into this one. 🔧

Keep an eye out. We’ll be showing you the finished result very soon. 👀👏
