🇨🇦 STONE SHEEP HUNT IN CANADA
This turned into a very long Canadian adventure - almost an entire month on the road.
The first two weeks were dedicated to a Stone Sheep hunt in the mountains. It was an extremely physically demanding hunt: around 20 km a day on horseback, cold, rain, wet clothes, long days in the mountains, and nights in tents.
There were days when exhaustion was so intense that it felt like the ram simply wasn’t going to happen. When the hunters were completely exhausted, they would descend to intermediate camps to shower, sleep, recover, and then climb back into the mountains again.
The hunt was booked for 14 days, but on Day 11, luck finally smiled. 🐏
The long-awaited Stone Sheep was found.
And there was barely any time to celebrate — because the next adventure was already waiting.
Straight from the mountains to the Canadian Arctic for another two weeks of hunting. 🇨🇦❄️
One month. Two completely different hunts. One unforgettable Canadian adventure.
Behind every successful hunt is much more than logistics. It’s planning, constant communication, problem-solving, and being there for the hunter - not only when everything goes according to plan, but also on the difficult days when motivation starts to disappear. I’m always there from the first day to the last.
