A bit late, perhaps… but the article is finally ready 🙂

BUSA in Action – We tested stubble cultivation with the VrootR
We continued testing the VrootR on black, heavy, dry and compacted soil in Ököritófülpös.
Our first stop was a rapeseed stubble field with high plant density and lots of residue. Around 8 cm it worked ideally: it cut through the entire surface, sliced emerging weeds, eliminated major cracks, and the plants remained standing on the surface thanks to the minimal soil disturbance.

I visited a machine site worth sharing — this time BUSA GYMF made it all the way to Sicily.
A new region always brings surprises, and the first machine delivered is always a major milestone. The local farms were looking for a mechanical weeder suitable for plantations, capable of treating the entire surface. Their choice fell on a solution that’s far from the simplest: the RP series, equipped with a parallel suspension system, can be shifted sideways, allowing it to adapt perfectly to the varying row widths and cultivation systems of the plantations....

We recently commissioned a BUSA Injector — and not just any size, but a 12‑row unit. Each row is equipped with one carbide injector element. The machine lifts itself during operation, so the tractor’s three‑point linkage does not damage the crop row. (Since the standard tractor linkage is too low and would break the plants underneath, our injector is manufactured with its own lifting mechanism.)

It also features a foldable draw wheel. We supply it from a front tank; the onboard tank is only an auxiliary unit.

That’s it. The rest will be decided out in the field.

3 machines, 3 functions on 1 tractor. Quite a train! 😄
Who can list what each unit is and what it does?

I recently visited a cultivator that was put into operation this year to see it working in the field and to gather some practical insights after the first hours of use.

The machine is a hydraulically folding 8‑row cultivator equipped with an 1100‑liter tank, reinforced Gen4 cultivation units, BUSA Rotor working elements, and two disc‑type liquid injectors per row. The primary purpose of this configuration was to enable use as a fertilizer‑applicator cultivator....

Last week was all about inter‑row cultivation and liquid fertilizer application.
Bence visited several farms to set up machines. In the video, you can see an 8‑row rotary row-crop cultivator equipped with injector units on the tool carriers.

If you want to realize liquid fertilizer application with cultivation in one pass with one machine, then the BUSA™ KS Row Crop Cultivator equipped with BUSA™ Rotors will be the right tool for you.
The Gen4 cultivator elements can be equipped with liquid injectors. In this case, injection is possible at a depth of 6-8 cm, i.e., the cultivator working depth + 3 cm.

We recently commissioned our newest two‑row pipe‑layer in a vineyard, where the construction has already proven itself in real‑world operation.
