I visited a machine site worth sharing — this time BUSA GYMF made it all the way to Sicily.
A new region always brings surprises, and the first machine delivered is always a major milestone. The local farms were looking for a mechanical weeder suitable for plantations, capable of treating the entire surface. We recently commissioned a BUSA Injector — and not just any size, but a 12‑row unit. Each row is equipped with one carbide injector element. The machine lifts itself during operation, so the tractor’s three‑point linkage does not damage the crop row. (Since the standard tractor linkage is too low and would break the plants underneath, our injector is manufactured with its own lifting mechanism.)

It also features a foldable draw wheel. We supply it from a front tank; the onboard tank is only an auxiliary unit.

That’s it. The rest will be decided out in the field.

Last week was all about inter‑row cultivation and liquid fertilizer application.
Bence visited several farms to set up machines. In the video, you can see an 8‑row rotary row-crop cultivator equipped with injector units on the tool carriers.

If you want to realize liquid fertilizer application with cultivation in one pass with one machine, then the BUSA™ KS Row Crop Cultivator equipped with BUSA™ Rotors will be the right tool for you.
The Gen4 cultivator elements can be equipped with liquid injectors. In this case, injection is possible at a depth of 6-8 cm, i.e., the cultivator working depth + 3 cm.

BUSA V‑RooteR – We were looking for a solution for shallow stubble cultivation, but we needed something that cuts through the entire surface – tall stubble, heavy residue, even green regrowth.
We wanted to work stubble, but we also tried it early spring on grassland. We were curious about its resistance to clogging, and the machine performed extremely well. It keeps its depth and just “shaves” the surface. After a bit of brainstorming, it turned into a concept for organic No‑Till (well, not exactly No‑Till, but you know…), and organic strip‑tillage.
