The mission of the Association is to promote kiteboarding to the general public in Hong Kong and Mainland China.

香港風箏滑水總會成立於2009年，總會宗旨是為了積極推廣香港和國内的風箏滑水活動和交流,本會不斷在香港及中國大陸找尋更理想的活動場地，也和國内一些風箏滑水中心、帆板及水上活動俱樂部有密切的交流，希望能夠將風箏滑水這運動介紹給普羅大眾認識及令不同層面的人去參與
