I’m Tine Gregory, mother of deceased — writer, Bastian Gregory,and someone who’s always believed in the power of stories to help us through the hardest times.
Aboard the Timeline isn’t just a children’s adventure book. It was written by my son Bastian — and in many ways, written with the wish that he could be like the main character . It’s a story about time travel, courage, and friendship, yes — but underneath, it’s about navigating the unknown, holding onto hope, and discovering strength you didn’t know you had. Themes that were deeply personal to Bastian, and which he sadly could not believe strongly enough in, but which for the main character, Pete turn out right in the end.
Promoting this book isn’t about sales. It’s about sharing something that carries part of his spirit — a world where kids like Pete (the main character) face big questions and still move forward, one brave step at a time. It’s about sparking curiosity, resilience, and wonder in children — and hopefully not only offering comfort to the grown-ups reading alongside them, but also a platform where it is makes easier for the adults to bring up important topics in an easy way.
If you’ve ever loved someone fiercely, if you’ve ever had to be brave when you didn’t feel ready, this story is for you.
