In recent years the usage and number of functions on mobile devices has skyrocketed. This development has made phones more important and more valuable. The sensitive information on the device creates value for criminals and makes takes them attractive for theft. These stolen devices are often illegally resold and reused. This is harmful, not only for consumers but also for telecom providers, insurance companies, the banking industry, the police force and governments. To control damage for consumers and other parties, ImeiXS has developed a unique service: MobiMY. MobiMY allows to easily register multiple devices. Besides registering your devices, MobiMY offers many additional features, such as track & trace capabilities and various validation methods. MobiMY works with the IMEI number on your mobile device. This number stands for International Mobile Equipment Identity and is a 15 digit serial number unique to every mobile device. Where to find your IMEI number?
- The keyboard method; simply dial * #06 # and the number will be displayed automatically on your device.
- The battery method; Slide the back of your device open and remove the battery. Look in the empty battery slot for a white label noting the IMEI.
- Settings method; Tap Settings, scroll down to 'About device' or 'General -> About'
- It can always be found on the box in which your device is packaged or on the invoice.

MobiMY+ are extra services offered to protect your mobile in even more ways and it makes retrieval possible. These services are offered on the website or in the mobile application MobiMY. After installing, registering is done in a matter of seconds. The App reports the IMEI number to the MobiMY system and secures it. The App allows users to secure the data on their device when its lost or stolen. Users can remote lock their device, to prevent it from being used on any participating network. They can send a message to the device when it's lost. And it finds its way back to the owner when it is found. And if all else fails the can remote wipe the device and clear out all data.

SMS:
Not all mobile devices support an App. For these cases, MobiMY has developed SMS registration. Sending a simple text message to a shortcode allows the device to be registered in the MobiMY system. This means that internet access is not necessary to perform a registration. Secure your device easily with SMS registration thanks to MobiMY.
