🚍👨‍🔧 After Delaine Buses took delivery of its new mobile column lifts, the independent bus operator has utilised them for a variety of tasks, like MOT preparation, tyre changes, diagnostic and repair, and general maintenance and servicing.

💬 Delaine's engineering manager, Jack, said: “We now do a lot more work outside because access to vehicles is much easier. For a variety of jobs, having the vehicle raised outside gives much better access.”

The lifts have proven to be genuine all-rounders, but Delaine's partnership with us is only just beginning.

Jack said: “A supplier of ours also uses MAHA’s brake testing equipment, and they spoke very highly of the service engineers. That gave us reassurance that the support would be there if we need it.

“We would definitely talk to MAHA again.”

🙌🚍 When Delaine Buses needed to replace ageing mobile column lifts, the team turned to us, a decision that has already made a difference to its day-to-day maintenance operations.

The independent bus operator wanted lifting equipment that better suited its operational requirements, as Jack, the company's engineering manager, explains: "We wanted to invest in a new set of column lifts that would improve efficiency and usability within the workshop. After speaking to other operators already using MAHA products, the feedback was consistently positive."

Since installation, the lifts have become a key part of the workshop’s daily operation.

“We use them every day,” said Jack. “Because they’re lithium-battery powered and use Bluetooth connections, they’re incredibly easy to move around the yard wherever we need them. Storage is much easier too.”

🌧️ 🏁 Pouring rain, poor visibility, treacherous track conditions and a collision in the penultimate race – a challenging British Truck Racing Championship weekend for Bowler Truck Racing Team – but one that finished on a high with a brilliant podium.

That wasn’t John’s only great drive during the round at Thruxton; fired up after a disappointing start to the weekend, during the third race, the MAN TGX driver charged through the field from P14 on the grid to take a commendable P5 – that also included the fastest lap of the race.

A special mention to the Bowler Racing team, who were able to stay on top of mechanical gremlins and damage from collisions, to ensure John was able to complete a good weekend – well done to everyone involved!

⏳ As part of our Road Transport Expo countdown, we're excited to welcome Bowler Truck Racing Team to our stand. John Bowler's MAN TGX will be hoisted upon our mobile column lifts throughout the three-day event at Stoneleigh, taking place between 30 June and 2 July.

The man himself will be joining Neil, Louis, Luke and James on the Wednesday (1 July), where he will be available for a chat, selfies and autographs.
