We’re pleased to announce that Marcoe Engineering Limited has officially been accredited as an OZEV-approved EV charge point installer - a key step in our mission to deliver high-integrity, future-proof electrical infrastructure for the UK’s low-carbon transition.

This approval under the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) scheme enables us to install EV charging systems eligible for government grants, including the EV Chargepoint Grant and Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS). Our team is now certified to deliver:

🔌 Grant-compliant system design and documentation

THE RESULTS ARE IN…

A gallant effort was made by the Marcoe team to reach 1000 miles in May and as a collective we managed to reach 898 miles!!! 👏🏻

Despite busy work and social schedules we managed to take time for ourselves and tally up miles by doing things we enjoy! This included dog walks, netball, lunchtime walks, bike rides, running and not that it took some people much persuasion but some rounds of golf🙌🏻

We hope those who were involved enjoyed taking part and noticed some mental benefits.

Although we may not have reached our target we will be proudly donating £1,000 to Mind Charity!

Marcoe's 1000 Miles In May For Mental Health Awareness

With Mental Health Awareness Week falling 12th-18th May 2025 the Marcoe office and site staff teams, will be aiming to reach 1000 miles, as a collective, in the period 1st to the 31st May, with £1 being donated for each mile and all proceeds raised going to The Mind Charity!

The reason we thought of this idea is because research has shown that exercise has many social, health and psychological benefits such as:
✓ reduction in stress
✓ improves mood
✓ sharper memory
✓ better sleep
✓ clearer thinking
✓ social opportunities
✓ quality time with friends & family

The money we raise will be donated to Mind Charity – one of the leading mental health charities in the UK. They offer vital support services for individuals as well as campaign for better laws in mental health, better care in hospitals through therapy and online support and working to get better funding for NHS services.
