This week's parts that have just shipped so far. Various range of parts and materials all done where the finish and attention to detail is critical.

It has been a busy month and getting close to Easter where we are having a break. The lads have massively performed and dealt with a lot thrown at us and just cracking on. Well proud of what this team has performed this month so far, into the last push.

Getting that rainbow effect going on some mounting plates we completed last week. Beautiful work again.

We say it every time and the pride you take in your work will separate you from others, the attention to detail in the little things matter.

We shipped these valve components this week to a customer and we tend to do test fits when we make multiple parts of a build. Sometimes this allows us to spot any interfering areas or in this case where the parts fit perfectly.

Leaving office duties today and getting my hands dirty for once. Its nice to get on the machines from time to time but while the work is needed I am jumping in to help with the workload.

Special tooling for a special job we have to do this month. I wouldn't say the job is the most difficult design wise we have seen but I will say the material that will be removed from the job will create a lot of movement and change with the materials. We have to be careful and essentially inspect the part after every op to learn how it moves and relaxes after roughing while still being conscious of where we can access after milling to avoid intermittent cutting and save tooling, this is how we will maintain dimension and finish consistency through the part ensuring the critical areas are right.

let's hope this all goes to plan.

So we are all back and machining into 2026 orders. Hoping everyone i know and who i am connected to a brilliant year ahead and we are here for all customers old and new ready to push on to make it great.

So 1 more week left of the year for protek and in all honesty the break is a welcomed one.
Talking to a lot of people across our industry we havent been alone in our struggles so I guess a lot of people are looking forward to a break and a bit of a reset to look ahead next year. All that considered we remain strong and confident going into next year to tackle everything thrown at us again.
We thank all of our customers and suppliers for the support over this last year and look forward to continuing the great relationships we have built in the new year.

Bit late on this one but another year passed our audit with no findings. We continue to try to improve and when we have audits and we are able to showcase our systems and processes in place to try and keep the business as easy and simple as possible, it does help that we have things simple and easy to follow.

This is where you can see pride and precision in machining aligning perfectly. Threads, beautiful finish and smooth engagement with the mating part. Bores measuring middle tolerance on every section with a great finish. Grooves also machined perfectly with great finish throughout and this is not easily achieved.

The staff we have are truly great at what they do here and we see alot more of the harder to machine tighter tolerance parts which is great our customers trust us enough with these parts.

It would also be nice to see some simpler run parts aswell to give everyone a bit of a easier day though 😁

I know my socials have been quiet lately and while I have been honest on this page it is a bit of a few things resulting in my abscence. We are nowhere near as busy as we would like and I am trying to open more opportunities, but we are just about managing to keep work in front of our lads. its tough out there for sure and not knowing when it will change can worry you. I also just wanted to take a step back away from socials, I try use social media as a tool for the business and if it isnt productive towards that I have tried to stay clear and mentally it can be draining so it is important to sometimes step back and refresh from everything.

anyway the images are mounting plates made from carbon steel for oil and gas valve bodies which has been a nice little runner for our lads to complete.

These AI tools really are getting good. Seeing more and more uses and although I just see fun uses i have never really seen its true capabilities. 1 things is for sure though this AI space is only going to continue to advance to crazy levels.
