Really proud of the apprentice group I've been teaching Fluid Power to at MAKE UK over the past four weeks.

Not only have they successfully completed all of the course training tasks and stretch exercises to a very high standard, but they also took on an advanced PLC project that challenged them to design and build an automated stamping and sorting system from scratch.

Their enthusiasm, teamwork, problem-solving skills, and willingness to push beyond the course requirements have been fantastic to see. It's been a pleasure supporting them throughout the programme and watching their confidence and technical abilities develop.

It’s been an excellent week delivering Surface Grinding training at Make UK.

A huge well done to the course delegate, who produced some outstanding work throughout the programme. It’s been great to see their confidence and technical ability develop with each practical exercise.

The new skills and knowledge gained will help support their career development and enable them to make an even greater contribution in the workplace.

A rewarding week all round, and I’m looking forward to delivering more hands-on engineering training in the weeks ahead.

Picked up some pre‑loved equipment today for an upcoming mechanical maintenance course.
The delegates will be stripping down, inspecting and rebuilding these machines as part of their practical training. Great kit for developing real‑world maintenance skills.
