Be inspired by this incredible young author, who was first published at just 9 years old. Betsy, who is visually impaired and lives with a life-limiting condition, will share her powerful story, discuss her book, and talk about positivity and overcoming everyday challenges.

Squishy dumplings are the latest toy craze, but some come with hidden risks⚠️

Our trading standards officers have seized more than 500,000 squishy toys at Heathrow Airport✈️❌️

They were found to be missing key UK safety information and labelling, while some had strong chemical smells or contained liquids which could cause harm if the product were to split😷🧪

To stay safe, remember:
✔️always check for UKCA/CE marks
🛍️buy from reputable retailer
🚮if a toy becomes damaged or leaks, safely dispose of it.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday (6 June) at our Harlington Road Depot Pop-Up Waste Drop♻️

66 residents came along and disposed of more than 1.5 tonnes of unwanted or bulky household items✨

💗 If you look after someone who relies on your help, join the Hillingdon Carers' Fair this Wednesday (10 June) at Watts Hall and Bailey Hall, Christ Church, Uxbridge from 10am to 4pm.

👍 The event will feature stalls with information and advice, as well as wellbeing and lifestyle services.
