To round off another great , Cllr Richard Mills, Cabinet Member for Corporate Services, Digital & Transformation, went along to meet residents at the 'Get online with confidence' session at Ruislip Manor Library today where he met Brenda Clark.

Brenda, from Ruislip, said: "I have come to get help with registering for online council tax. It's been very useful. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone if they're having problems doing anything [online]."

It doesn't end there. Whether you’re new to technology or just need a bit of guidance, our free and friendly support sessions can help you get started with smartphones, tablets, email, and online services.

During quieter times, our library staff are also available to help with simple IT tasks and questions—just ask.

⏰Tomorrow (Saturday 24 October), our Pop-Up Waste Drop comes to Brookside Open Place car park, Hayes, from 10am to 2pm.

🍂 As well as bringing any unwanted or bulky household waste, you’ll also now be able to drop off up to three reusable bags or boxes of green waste.

ℹ️ Bring your garden waste in bags or containers that can be safely emptied by our collection team. Your bags and containers will be given back to you once they’ve been emptied.

Did you know leaving a bag of clothes next to a clothing collection bin counts as fly-tipping?👚❌

We know the clothing bins at Tesco in Yeading are a hotspot for dumped waste.

Although clearing waste from private land is the landowner’s responsibility, we share residents’ frustrations and have been working with the business to tackle those responsible.

Since June, we’ve issued six Fixed Penalty Notices for fly-tipping at the site and investigating more incidents✅

If a clothing bin is full, don’t leave your items beside it. Come back when it’s empty, use another collection point or book our textile collection service👖💻
