Stock Judging results at the South of England show (Berkshire competing with all the other counties in the South East Area) ….. drum roll please……

Flo from Newbury - first in Sheep and Beef (winner of Junior Stockjudger and off to nationals🤩)
Harry from Newbury - first in Dairy

Berkshire also came first in all junior stock judging categories and won all of the team cups 🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉🎊🎉

A fantastic time has been had at the South of England show.
We came third in the Cube (well done Evie, Francesca, Immy, Louis and Lucy 😁😁😁😁😁)
And second in Auctioneering (well done Jude 😁)

A massive congratulations to The Hawkstone Farmers Choir on winning Britain's Got Talent 2026!

"This is for the farmers," they said on winning – and they're the first choir ever to win the show!

Well done to everyone involved in the choir – and a special shout out to our former YFC members, our YFC Achiever Award Judge Farmer Ben Brooke and all those who are still involved with YFC! You're all simply amazing.

Last night, some of our Young Farmers went to their happy place, when Farols very kindly hosted us for a farm machinery meeting. 😁
A huge thank you to Martin, Jeff and Kev for giving up their time in the evening heat to show us the business and, of course, the amazing tractors and machines that they sell. 🚜 🌾
Some of the technology is truly amazing and being able to map fields to within an inch’s accuracy is mind blowing!

We did a thing!
Today we went and ran the Welly Wanging stall at the St Martin’s Guild Fete. It was a wee bit warm but that didn’t stop the competitive village of East Woodhay coming out in force.
Some brilliant efforts and an incredible winning throw from an under 16 competitor of over 40 metres!!
A really lovely fete, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
