Up for sale is a 1970 Vw Dormobile T2 camper, desirable early low light version. Powered by a 1600cc engine that has been recently serviced. The engine has twin 34 Weber carburettors, pertronix electronic ignition, alternator conversion fitted, professionally reconditioned starter motor, Cohline fuel pipes fitted and a stainless steel single quiet pack exhaust.
The brakes have been upgraded to servo assisted,new calipers on the front,new back brakes and backing plates.
Power steering has been fitted.
Steering wheel has been upgraded to a Mcj wooden model, with new boss as well.
S**t quick shift has replaced the old gearstick to make gear changing a little easier.
A retro sounds stereo has been fitted with new speakers in the cab door cards and into the bed board as well.
A Sargent EC160 power management system is fitted and electric hook up, with several usb sockets fitted in the interior and plug sockets ,a new starter battery will be fitted as well.
New cab floor mat and rear mat fitted from Madmatz, new cab seat covers.
Roof rack with spare wheel .
New pop top canvas.
2x new sliding windows fitted.
New electric tap and waste containers
Interior is original dormobile but does need work(please ask for more info)
Roof bunk mechanisms have been painted also the buddy seat frames have been painted.
The dash has been painted to match the exterior blue colour.
The chassis is solid and has been painted in blue stone chip to match the exterior body colour.
Bodywork is in really good condition, with import cab doors fitted,there are a couple of bubbles on the rear hatch.
This van has to be seen to be appreciated,£1000s have been spent by my customer on this van and hes actually never used it as a camper and only drove it about 50 miles. Genuine reason for sale tho.
