Mamas on the school run… are you managing to get out the door on time?

No?

Here’s my top tips for getting out on time as a Mama of 5 who’s early for everything in life!

1 - IF YOU ARE RUNNING LATE NEVER EVER LET THE KIDS KNOW
This will make them go 100x slower, keep your cool, pretend everything is ok!

2 - GET EVERYTHING READY THE NIGHT BEFORE
Everything - clothes, toothbrushes, breakfasts, bags packed by the door, shoes and coats laid out, packed lunches made. Anything that can be in the car already? Put it there!

3 - ROUTINE AND REPETITION ARE TOUR FRIEND
Find an order of doing things and stick to it. It helps your children know what’s coming next.

4 - BRUSH TEETH BEFORE GOING DOWNSTAIRS
Or brush them in the downstairs toilet after breakfast. It saves the drama of coming back upstairs again.

5 - THE 10 MINUTE RULE
Get up 10minutes earlier than you think you need to. Aim to leave 10 minutes earlier than you think you need to. This gives time for emergencies and unexpected events.

You will find your flow I promise! Do what works for you and have a strong coffee 🩷☕️

✨ You can be sure of a space that feels easy. I know how hard it can be going to a new class. Everyone feels nervous at first, I make sure to create a welcoming relaxed space for you to feel at ease

✨A comfortable set up for both you and your baby, space for all your things! Cushions for you to sit on , fresh towels, pillows for baby are all provided every single session. Clean, age appropriate sensory toys too!

✨ A weekly routine, we build the routine up to make it easier to learn and for your baby to enjoy. I’ll explain the benefits and how each stroke supports your little one’s development

✨ Videos of the routine each week to help you learn and practice, if you want to. It’s never “homework” just there if you want them.

✨ Time to chat - making friends isn’t easy I know! But in the relaxed setting it’s a great way to chat with other parents, share tips and enjoy refreshments (whilst your baby relaxes after their massage!)

✨ No pressure environment - the sessions are totally baby led, so if they need a feed, change or cuddle you are free to do so in a totally judgement free space.

I’m a fully qualified and experienced Baby Massage Practitioner and have recently been in your position, I understand the struggles and joy.

I have also completed an additional qualification to be able to safely support little ones with any additional and individualised need - if you would like to get in touch for a chat feel free 🩷
