Verruca Myth vs Fact 👣❄️

A verruca is caused by a virus (HPV) that lives in the skin — it’s not just “hard skin” and it won’t always disappear on its own.

Common signs of a verruca:

✔ Pain when walking or squeezing the area
✔ Tiny black dots inside
✔ Rough, hard skin on the feet
✔ Can spread if left untreated

Myth:

“Only children get verrucas.”

Fact:

Adults get them too — especially around swimming pools, gyms and shared changing areas.

How cryotherapy helps:

Cryotherapy works by freezing the affected tissue, helping the body recognise and fight the virus naturally.

Treatment is quick and most people can return to normal activities straight afterwards.
