A heads up to our followers, new and established, that itโs only just over 2 months until our Vintage Rally, just off the A30 at Fraddon. Expect a huge number of tractors (ok, not on NVTRR scale, but in the hundreds), vintage cars, bikes, trucks, military vehicles, stationary engines, some steam, plenty of working exhibits, rural bygones, that sort of thing. Thereโll be trade stands, dancing diggers, lawnmower racing, Norman will be there again with his ducks, the Searchers Wild West reenactment, Cornish Wrestling, Hellrazer disco on the Friday, the Classics playing in the beer tent on Saturday night. Our theme this year is the Grey Fergie, given it is 100 years since Harry Ferguson first patented his 3pt hitch, 90 years since he teamed up with David Brown to produce his first tractor and 80 years since the T20 first appeared. What we'd like to do, and it may be pie in the sky, but hey, we've just managed to get 514 tractors onto an airfield in the middle of nowhere, so anything is possible, is to get to 80 Wee Grey Ones, one for every year they've been around. To enter for any of the sections, head over to our website www.cornishtractorclub.org to download a form, or speak to one of the section leaders and theyโll sort you out.
