A beautiful rose made for a good customer.
Each petal and leaf is hand cut from sheet metal. They are then shaped by hand and then welded in place.
This one was heated at the edges to give lovely rich colours.

These take many hours to make but I think the result is worth it.

Rather proud of this one.
I am now an official supporter of Andys Man Club. I am busy perfecting the logo hand and attached is just the first attempt. I will get it spot on soon. £40 from each sale will go directly to AMC and the rest will cover cost of making them. I will not be making a profit on these hands.
I will keep you posted and share them when I get them 100%.

When I cut chain to make something I end up with two cut links. I don't have a scrap bin in the workshop, nothing gets wasted.
I made this skull out of the cut links, eyes are worn diff gears and some rebar for teeth.

A couple of recent ones and the can is just for scale.
The man on bended knee is made from an old 25mm spanner and motorbike chain.

The hearts are made from metal rod and motorbike chain. I am fussy about the details and usually they go unnoticed. With the three hearts for example the child is cuddling in as is the wife. The husband is tilted forward slightly protectively looking over them.

Sometimes the bulb makes all the difference to a lamp. This is one of those times.
This bow and arrow lamp is around 52cm high and 60cm wide including the bulb.
This time I used a drill for scale.

Lots of work going on in the workshop preparing for events and keeping stock in a couple of local shops.
Here is a heart made with a motorbike conrod and some steel balls.
I used another conrod for a base.

The heat makes the steel go from a chrome finish to these lovely dark colours.
