Mechanical installation of a lift carraige, chains, motor/gearbox and safety inertia reel.

A critical aspect of this installation is ensuring the shrink ring coupling is tightened to the specified torque settings, following a cross-tightening pattern for even distribution.

Additionally, the Belleville washers should be tightened to the specified overall measurement. This adjustment is crucial for allowing the sensor to effectively cut off the motor in an over-torque situation.

This perished DN300 geared butterfly valve was reported letting-by.

Due to the high heat entering through the pipework a decision was made to replace the valve with a fully lined PTFE valve.

We took advantage of the planned shutdown and also replaced a NRV, bellow and replacement 316L spool fabricated before attending site.
