Can you believe it's October already?

A new month means another month of keeping farms, machinery and equipment moving.
As the days get shorter and the weather starts to change, it's a good time to think about the jobs that are easy to put off until "later"…

In simple terms, agricultural engineering is about helping keep the machinery, equipment and systems used in agriculture working as they should.

From diagnosing problems and carrying out repairs to maintenance and engineering solutions, it's all about helping farmers keep things moving.

And let's be honest… when you're working to tight agricultural deadlines, a machine that isn't working is never convenient!

1️⃣ "I'll get it checked before the busy season."
2️⃣ "If it isn't broken, don't touch it!"

🌱 The season keeps moving — and so does the work on the farm.

As we head towards the end of September, there's always plenty to think about: machinery, maintenance, drainage, ground conditions, repairs and getting prepared for the months ahead.

Agricultural engineering might not always be the most visible part of farming, but when equipment isn't working properly, it can quickly become one of the most important.

😂 YOU KNOW YOU’RE A FARMER WHEN…

Your vehicle has more mud on it than your boots.

A “quick job” turns into a three-hour mission.

The vehicle gets used for everything and we mean EVERYTHING! 😂

A VERY LOCAL FARMING EVENT

So sorry I’ve been a little quiet lately… my social media team decided to take a well-deserved break! 😂 (Bit rude, if you ask me!)

BUT… they’re back, and we’re kick-starting September with a VERY local event!

We’ve already confirmed Southwell Ploughing Match & Show, AgriScot and LAMMA, so there’s plenty more agricultural action coming up over the next few months!

But with The Collingham Show being just around the corner and right on our doorstep, it was only right that we kick-started 1st September with this fantastic local event!

🎉 THE COLLINGHAM SHOW! 🎉

Just down the road from us here in Swinderby, the Collingham Show brings together everything we love about our agricultural and rural community, with plenty to see and do throughout the day:
