Hewitt Robins replaced an old Cort screen with a Hewitt Robins 1.5 x 6.0m Single Deck Horizontal Screen. Hewitt Robins designed a customized screen that seamlessly fit into the customer's existing structure without requiring any modifications.

The 1.5 x 6.0 Single Deck screen efficiently handles approximately 100 tons per hour of crushed Slag. This screen was equipped with various components including an oil lubricated LPE overhead vi****or unit, a feed box with rubber liners, discharge lips with rubber liners, rubber lined crossmembers, support springs, spring base plates, v belt drive, vi****or pulley, and motor pulley.

To accommodate the restricted access around the plant, the screen was furnished with on-board mounted drive motors, facilitating easy installation and providing complete access around the screen for convenient and safe maintenance.

This marks the replacement of the second machine on this site, leading to improved site availability and production.

Hewitt Robins recently replaced an old Cort screen with a custom-designed Hewitt Robins 1.5 x 6.0 Single Deck Horizontal Screen, engineered to fit directly into the customer’s existing structure with no modifications required.

Built to handle around 100 tonnes per hour of crushed slag, the new screen was specified with an oil lubricated LPE overhead vi****or unit, rubber lined feed and discharge components, rubber lined crossmembers, support springs, base plates, and full drive arrangement.

Due to restricted access around the plant, the machine was fitted with on-board mounted drive motors, making installation easier while also allowing safe and convenient maintenance access around the screen.

This is the second Hewitt Robins machine installed on the site, helping to improve both production and site availability.

We completed the supply and installation of a replacement triple-deck screen for one of the Midlands’ leading sand and gravel sites.

Designed to handle 350tph in tough working conditions, the new screen was engineered to fit the existing footprint with minimal modification, fully protected with rubber lining and polyurethane modular decks to maximise durability and performance.

The installation ran smoothly and this is now the 3rd screen in operation on this site with excellent feedback from the customer.

Another successful installation completed by Hewitt Robins.

We recently supplied and installed a replacement triple-deck screen for one of the Midlands’ leading sand and gravel operations. Designed to handle 350tph in demanding conditions, the screen was engineered to fit the existing footprint with minimal modification, helping keep downtime to an absolute minimum.

The installation included rubber lining protection, spray bars and nozzles, jacking points for springs, and the reuse of the customer’s existing polyurethane screening media. The project was delivered ahead of schedule, and the site now operates three Hewitt Robins screens, with excellent feedback from the customer.

Hewitt Robins has recently supplied a 1m x 2m heavy-duty Field Conveyor Feeder, now successfully handling up to 550tph of -220mm basalt material at one of Northumberland’s leading premium basalt sites.

Hewitt Robins has recently supplied a replacement 1.25m x 4.8m Vibrating Pan Feeder to a long-standing customer in Southern France, replacing an original Hewitt Robins Feeder first installed in 1976.

After processing over 60 million tonnes of limestone, the new heavy-duty feeder is now installed and operating, engineered to deliver reliable performance for decades to come.
