A mid-season clean and sharpen for these Toro triple cutting units.

If the finish isn’t quite as clean as it was earlier in the season, it could simply be time to give the cylinders and bottom blades some attention.

These came in for a clean and sharpen to get them cutting properly again.

A bit of KECKEX news from us 👇

We first came across KECKEX GmbH while looking into practical chemical-free w**d control, and that was what got us interested in the first place.

After doing some research here in the UK, we went over to Austria to see the machines working properly for ourselves.

What really stood out was how much more versatile the system was than we’d expected. W**d control is a big part of it, but the modular setup can also be used for cleaning, gum removal, watering and other outdoor maintenance work.

So we’ve now gone ahead and ordered two demonstration machines – the JESPI and the smaller MOBI – which should be with us in the UK within the next few weeks.

We’re planning our first UK demonstrations for October and will share the details as soon as they’re confirmed.

If your mower’s had a quieter few weeks in this dry weather, it’s worth giving it a quick check before the rain eventually turns up and everything starts growing again. 🌦️

Dust has been a big one this summer, so air filters are particularly worth checking, along with oil, belts, blades, tyre pressures and battery or fuel condition.

And if it’s due a proper service, now is a useful time to get it in while you can afford to be without it.

At least the hedges are growing..! ☀️🌿

Two weeks ago we visited Keckex in Austria to see the system for ourselves.

We originally went with chemical free w**d control very much in mind.

What surprised us was how much more the system could do once we saw it in operation.

The modular design means it can be adapted for w**d control, fast chewing gum removal, effective pressure washing, cleaning and watering from the same self contained platform.

Since returning, we've had many people asking one question:

"When can we see it working?"

We're working on it and will share more information as plans develop.

As always, making sure we can offer proper backup, servicing and after sales support is just as important to us as the machine itself.
