Service Engineer Vacancy
A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join Midland Slurry Systems, a forward thinking, family run company that can offer future progression for the right candidate.
Basic Function
• Performing maintenance for, and installation of, slurry handling equipment on site for our customers located across the UK
• Must possess the ability to work as part of a small team
• Must be thorough, methodical, practical and adaptable
• Must have a clean, full UK driving licence and the legal right to work in the UK
• Must be willing to travel with overnight stays away, as required from time to time
Responsibilities and Duties
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard on behalf of the company for our customers
• Be able to provide weekend cover on a shared rota
• Undertake any general duties as required from time to time, including cleaning of vans and equipment, maintenance of tools, re-stocking the vans with spares
• Adhere to the company and customer’s Health & Safety policies
• Complete required paperwork after each job and re-order any parts or spares as needed
Experience & Skills Required
• Good communication skills
• Professional approach in dealing with customers and colleagues alike
• Must be able to work in an organised, diligent manner
• Self-motivated individual who can work as part of a small team, or under own initiative
• Previous experience in an agricultural environment an advantage, but not essential.
Salary
Competitive / negotiable dependent on experience
