The lads have just finished off the install of a seriously heavy box section frame to support a new opening in a building in Exeter. This was completed in 2 phases so adequate propping was in place to support the concrete above. Access was tight and 250x150x12 RHS isn't light.
Testament to the team for going above and beyond recently working endless hours to deliver to our customers.
We have numerous big projects with deadlines all coming thick and fast. Excited to share pictures of the others when complete.
We are very fortunate to be so busy and have a great team mucking in to get the job done so thank you.
There's no i in team but there is in overtime 😉

🎉 Happy Retirement, Gail! 🎉
After an incredible 48 years working in the family business, Gail has officially hung up her boots. Gail — Gerry and Anne’s daughter and Rob’s sister — joined the business just a few years after Gerry and Rob took the brave step to go out on their own, and she has been there every step of the journey since.
Gail wasn’t just front of house. Over the years she truly mucked in wherever needed — unloading lorries, cutting material, keeping the team clothed, and so much more. Her vast industry knowledge and her fantastic rapport with customers, both old and new, played a huge part in the company’s success.
She will be sorely missed, although we’re sure she won’t be a stranger and will be popping in regularly to see the team and her extended work family.
It was lovely to have everyone together in the office this afternoon for some cake (and a bit of beer 😁) to wish her a fond farewell.
We started as a family business, and we still are — and we’re incredibly grateful for the fantastic team we have today.
Later this year we’ll be celebrating 50 years of trading, and having Nan and Grandad here to witness this milestone makes it even more special. They must be incredibly proud to see what they started still going strong and going from strength to strength.

Busy, busy, busy!
Some of the lads put in a Saturday shift today to keep up with demand, and it’s great to see the results.
We’re now 95% complete on a stunning domestic project featuring balustrade, 2 staircases and a bridge linking the veranda to the garden—along with the lads in the workshop churning out metres upon metres of stainless steel pipework.
We feel incredibly fortunate to be this busy, and it’s a real testament to the dedication and consistency of our team, delivering day in, day out to give our valued customers the service they deserve.

A bit of a change around the workshop recently…
Plenty of stainless pipework moving through the place at the moment for a big project we’re working on — and there’s still plenty more to come. Definitely something different from the usual balconies, staircases and balustrades we’re known for, but great to get stuck into a new challenge and mix things up.
Loving the variety and the chance to put some of our precision fabrication skills to work on something a little outside the ordinary

Out with the old and in with the new!
We’re very excited to take delivery of our new Bystronic 4m 225T Brake Press today. Commissioning is scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, with training on Wednesday and Thursday next week—meaning we’ll be fully operational very soon.
The machine we’re retiring was purchased by my Grandad and Dad 30 years ago and has served us incredibly well. It’s been a real workhorse for the business. But technology moves on, and so must we.
Here’s to the next chapter, new capabilities, and continuing the family legacy with improved precision, efficiency, and capacity

Here's a few jobs we completed recently. 57 cantilever balconies on a site in Exeter with everything assembled off site and then craned into position and fixed to pre installed sub brackets. And a lovely spine staircase and gallery landing balustrade at a domestic new build. Big or small jobs, the same attention to detail delivering stunning work for our customers.
Well done to all the team for their hard work in which has been a hectic year with lots more in the pipeline
