Still got an older Pakawaste earning its keep? 🔧

A damaged limit switch might not look particularly significant, but when it fails, the entire machine can refuse to operate correctly.

Fault-finding isn’t always about finding a major electrical or hydraulic failure. Sometimes, a relatively simple component is enough to prevent a machine from completing its operating sequence.

That’s why proper diagnosis matters. Changing components until something works can be costly, time-consuming and may not actually address the underlying problem.

Compactors aren’t usually the most glamorous piece of equipment on site, which is probably why they’re so often forgotten about until they stop working.
