Domestic Plumber/Water Treatment Engineer Vacancy
We are currently looking for a Domestic Plumber/Water Treatment Engineer. The role will be split role working both in the field and the workshop.
A fully expensed company van will be provided.
The field work shall include installation of equipment, servicing, repairs and deliveries.
The workshop work shall include repairs, testing and assisting with answering customer technical queries etc.
Our customers are predominantly private domestic although we increasingly work on farms, public houses, care homes & factories etc so the role can be varied and can involve travelling around Somerset, Devon, Dorset & Wiltshire.
The ideal candidate must be an experienced domestic plumber with a good understanding of mechanical engineering as our work can be quite varied. Training will be given to the right candidate in areas where needed.
Experience in a customer facing role would be beneficial.
You must be physically fit as the role regularly involves heavy lifting.
You must be at least 25 years old to meet our vehicle insurance requirements with no more than 3 points on your licence.
You must live within a 30 minute drive of our office in Somerton and be comfortable driving between 20-30k miles per year.
This is a salaried position based on 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday) and requires some flexibility regarding working hours. Normal start time is 8.30 but the finish time can vary if completing an installation or breakdown etc. Time in lieu will be offered for late working. Weekend work is occasionally required and will be remunerated accordingly.
You will initially receive 22 days paid leave per annum + all bank holidays.
