A customer's lighting problems resolved

Customer reported flickering lights and a puff of smoke coming from wiring loom.

On inspection it was found wiring was damaged and arcing out on the body of tipper, wiring repaired protective sleeving fitted as well as full inspection of other lighting.

With Mr plod targeting more and more farmers every day for silly simple fixes like this it's worth keeping upto date with all trailer repairs. Belive us our fix will be alot less of a head ache then Mr plod at you door 🚔

New brake master fitted to this massey fergurson 6490 as the original part had started to weep oil onto the cab floor.

Brakes bled and test run before handing back to customer.

Call out to a massey fergurson 7715 where the customer reported poor running than unable to start

The fuel filter housing had came into contact with the fuel tank breaking the cast filter head.

Filter was bypassed to get the customer off a busy main road and genuine filter filter again whilst making sure the fuel tank was secure

A few jobs carried out recently

Full service and inspection carried out on a Kawaski mule 4x4 all genuine parts and manufacturers recommended oils used.

As well as rectifying a starter fualt which had been cuased by a faulty igntion switch and battery

Service and testing carried out to a mccmorick 276 tractor which involed

Fuel filters
Oil filters
Complete oil change
Hydrualic pressure testing and diagnosing of low pressure due to blocked filters and leaking seals which have now been replaced.

Every service we complete we use genuine filters and parts where possible to ensure proper fitment and reduce downtime for the customer

Massey 7715s with a electrical fualt and issue starting on inspection a wire was found to be broken and cuasing a short wire has been soldered to get customer back to yard.

The tractor booked in for a new section of loom to be fitted to prevent future breakdowns.

Isolator box changed on a customer's 7715s, High resistance measured throughout the earth points so all cleansed and silcone grease applied to contacts to prevent future corrosion.
Green beacon wired into McCormick tractor. Watch this space more coming soon.

Bank holiday friday call out, to this massey ferguson 7715,
Driver reported the tractor was unable to start and showed signs of no fuel, on closer inspection, A 25 amp fuse was blown which is a common fualt linked to the isolator. fuse changed and the tractor was sent on it's way soon to have a isolator fitted 🚜🚜
