A family owned company established in 1894, we have been producing number plates for over 100 years and take pride in delivering the best quality product every time. Our plates are handmade using traditional methods, stoving enamels and original dies, not to mention decades of experience.

In the motor industry: Velocette release their final Viper and Vogue motorcycles.

At Jepson & Co Ltd: Eric Jepson, the third Jepson to chair the business, celebrates the anniversary of his heading up the company.

Number plate style: Optional reflective number plates became popular following introduction in 1967. All number plates had 3 1/8” digits.

For too long now the tax exemption of classic cars has been frozen, to only apply to those manufactured before 1973. History did not simply stop in 1972.
