We work on plant trailers, horse trailers and car transporters – servicing, repairs and parts.

Ideal candidate:
✔ Ex-REME mechanic preferred
✔ Strong mechanical background essential
✔ Confident using tools & general mechanical engineering knowledge
✔ Clean UK driving licence essential
✔ Able to work on your own and as part of a team
✔ Can follow instructions but also use your own initiative

Training will be given on trailer-specific systems, but you must have solid mechanical experience.
Good rates of pay depending on experience.

Good morning everyone ☀️⛅️

At Summer Castle Trailers, we are starting off our day raising awareness for how loading a trailer incorrectly can cause life threatening accidents‼️

This video is an amazing example of what happens when your trailer’s weight isn’t distributed correctly. You can clearly see that the load is distributed more on the end of the trailer and little nearer the tongue, most certainly what is causing the trailer to fishtail out of control. Factors such as speeding and high winds can also impact a trailer’s instability too. Hence why you need to take extra consideration when loading your trailer 🙌⚠️

Loading your trailer with 60% of the weight in front of the axle(s) and 40% in the rear is the best ratio to distribute your load, this maintains stability and prevents swaying. 💥📢
