Back on the grind after the bank holiday weekend - quite literally!

We’re busy processing these bars through our centreless grinding machines, achieving tolerances around 2–5 microns depending on project requirements.

The end result = tight diameters, excellent roundness and a consistent surface finish suited to demanding applications. 👌

Quality components always start with a solid setup. 👌

Here’s one of our milling machines set up using precision MicroLoc workholding systems from Micron Workholding.

Before machining even begins, secure and accurate workholding is critical to keeping components properly located and supported throughout the process.

The result? Improved stability during machining, tighter tolerances, better repeatability and consistent quality from first-off to final part.

Using a combination of traditional and advanced inspection equipment, our team is able to verify components down to the micron, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout production.

All inspection activities are carried out within our temperature-controlled inspection department and form part of our regularly audited EN9100-certified quality management system.

While a clean finish always looks good, component cleaning is about far more than appearance. Removing swarf, coolant and machining residue is an essential step before inspection, assembly and final application.

It’s all part of maintaining quality, consistency and reliability throughout the production process.
