24th May bits from the day

I think I must have heard the words ice-cream, beer, melting and beetroot 100 times today, it certainly got warm
Couple with the fantastic weather and enjoyable course there were smiles all round, I even managed to get round with Phil at the end to makeup for his missing shooting buddy who has abandoned him for a horse in Spain this week

Hot shot for the day was Chris Garsed on 64/70 and little miss sunshine of the day was Evelyn Gibbs on 59/70
Well done to all, scores should be up shortly

Thanks as always to the team for their hard graft, Lol for keeping everyone fed and all those that support the club

See you all in a couple of weeks

10th May roundup

Some days are just good days and today was one of them, yes the course was technical but rewarding, the sunshine was enough to give us a glimpse of summer but not to much to burn Ian to a crisp, like I say, a good day

Jonathan Blyth took top honours on 58/70 and Lynne Hardcastle claimed the ladies on 57/70 matching the second spot group
Results up now

Thank you all for the compliments on the course, these have been passed on to the crew who put it together, a cracking job

Please remember our summer members shoot on the 20th we are joined by Sutton for a friendly, I'll pop a reminder and other details in a few days time

12th April roundup

We always like it when people talk about targets, where, how far or fast, it means we did something interesting and today was one of those days, all topped off with some good scores on a tough layout

Neil Coulson found the most on 60/70 with Louise Gibbs not far behind on 58/70 for the ladies, her new toy really suits her
Well done to all and the scores are up now on the results page, checked and corrected for those who's adding up seemed to be an issue

Another day with targets chosen by the weather, we really do try to set them in one place, please forward all suggestions to the forecast people on more pleasant climate choices

Well done to all and thank you for the compliments on the targets, list up on the results page as normal

Special thanks go to Lol for keeping all fed and watered, today it was very much needed

Evening all, here at last due to a long busy day by the team.

Well done to all that braved the changeable weather and attended today, particularly to those that gave generously to the fundraising going on by the cake ladies who also manned the free members side shoot.
Well done to Lee Curry for his 27 point win, even more impressive based on his wobbly wheels on the sporting.
Total raised and topped with a club donation was £500, thank you

Bragging rights on the sporting go to Ray Morrell and Lynne Hardcastle on 62/70 and 52/70 respectively, well done to all and scores are up now on the results page as usual.
