We are hiring;
Looking for Part 2 scaffolders and HGV drivers, ideally with extensive previous scaffolding experience and a good knowledge of scaffolding. Must be able to work as part of a team with other scaffolders of different levels of skill and experience. Ideally experienced carded Part 2 scaffolders with HGV or full UK driving license with extensive scaffolding and driving experience.
HGV driver labourers/improvers with experience also considered.
Should be able to get to our yard in Redditch, Worcs and ideally live fairly locally in Worcestershire or the Midlands area. Must be able to follow instruction and erect/dismantle scaffolding to a good standard, and be keen to get stuck in and complete jobs in decent time.
Working generally on domestic streetwork in and around the Midlands. Some commercial and industrial work ie shopfronts and access/handrail works.
Regular work on weekends and overtime available during busy periods. Working hours are generally 7am in the yard, down tools approx 4pm but must be willing to work past 4pm occasionally on busier days if needed to complete jobs, with overtime paid on top of day rate for later finishes. Decent rates of pay negoitable on experience and qualifications. Will be working on a self employed basis with 20% CIS deductions.
Should be willing to do 1 or 2 weekend days a month, and occasionally work past 4pm on our busier days, and willing to occasionally work away also with digs paid and a daily allowance for food.
