Slowly but surely, the fleet keeps growing… and so does our capability. 👀

Another significant investment into a sophisticated piece of lifting equipment, allowing Gorilla Lifting Ltd to take on an even wider range of complex, specialist and tight-access lifting operations.

For us, it’s never about simply adding more kit. It’s about investing in the right equipment, technology and solutions to give our clients a complete service when conventional lifting methods just won’t cut it.

From spider cranes and tracked carriers to synchronous hydraulic jacking and now another specialist addition to the fleet, we’re continuing to build Gorilla Lifting into a company capable of planning, managing and delivering some seriously challenging lifting operations.

Well… the anticipation was overwhelming 😂🫣 but NOW WE CAN FINALLY REVEAL WHAT’S BEEN IN THE BOX! 🦍🏗️

Introducing the newest addition to the Gorilla Lifting arsenal — our 12-point synchronous jacking system. 🔥

Today we carried out a full dry run of the system and our purpose-built lifting frame, getting everything set up, connected and tested ready for our upcoming major plant lifting project.

This is some serious kit.

🏗️ 12-point synchronous lifting
💪 Up to 600 tonnes jacking capacity as is with upgrade options to lift 12000 tons at 100% capacity!
🎯 Accuracy to 0.3mm

Watching this come together from the initial idea, through design, engineering, fabrication and finally seeing the complete system working today has been something else.

Just shy of 700 TONNES of coil removed today and our newest weapon in the Gorilla Lifting arsenal has been earning its keep! 🏗️💪

There’s something seriously satisfying about seeing this go from a design concept on paper ➡️ fabrication ➡️ paint ➡️ straight into live operation doing exactly what it was built to do.

Massive credit to M4 Lifting Services Ltd. — they absolutely pulled it out of the bag with this one. We came to them with the challenge and together turned it into a purpose-built lifting solution that’s making this operation safer, faster and more efficient. 👏🔥

And an equally massive shoutout to the lads on the ground. Just shy of 700te shifted TODAY plus grafting away in this weather and keeping the operation moving. Serious effort from everyone involved. 💪☀️

6AM. Day 3. Getting ready to rock & roll.

The best part of 2,000 tonnes already discharged and we’re straight back at it this morning.

Weeks of planning behind the scenes, long days on the ground, and one hell of a team making it happen safely and efficiently.

🦍🏗️ DAY 1 — DONE. WHAT A RESULT. 🏗️🦍

Weeks of planning, design and fabrication have gone into this Gorilla Lifting full contract lift, with one goal — make the operation faster, safer and more efficient for everyone involved.

Today all that preparation became reality. 💪

Day 1 complete with several hundred tonnes of steel successfully discharged and the whole operation running exactly as we planned it.

We even managed to get the drone in the air to capture some epic shots of what was an absolutely glorious day on the dock. 🚢☀️🎥

Safe to say I’m extremely pleased with how today went. There’s a serious amount of work behind the scenes before a project like this ever sees a hook in the air, so seeing the plan come together safely and successfully makes it all worthwhile.

And for the crane spotters… 👀

Sometimes you’ve just got to keep your cards close to your chest… 👀🤫

A little check-in from London Stansted Airport before we head out to Genova, Italy. 🇬🇧✈️🇮🇹

Big things don’t happen by accident, and this is another step on a journey we’ve been working incredibly hard towards. Plenty of planning, plenty of graft, and now it’s time to make it happen.
