WE’RE HIRING – MANUAL TURNER

BSD Engineering is looking for an experienced Manual Turner to join our workshop team.

Role includes:
• Operating manual lathes
• Reading engineering drawings
• Producing precision components
• Working to high quality standards

Requirements:
✔ Experience with manual turning
✔ Ability to read technical drawings
✔ Good attention to detail
✔ Reliable and hardworking

📍 Based in Eye Green
💰 Competitive pay (depending on experience)

A busy day for BSD Engineering on Monday, as we waved good bye to our old Haas VF3 and took delivery of our new Haas VF-6SS Vertical Machining Centre.

This new bit of machinery will allow us to increase our ability to machine larger engineering items from our customers and of course keeping up with the latest CNC capabilities.

The old VF3 was de-commissioned by the service team and the VF-6SS was installed, the team will be back on Friday for the set up and getting the machine operational.

These items comes to us as a rough castings. We turn the item into a finished bearing housings.
