A sticky fuel problem caused the pump rack and plungers to stick in this fuel injection pump fitted to a canal line engine.Prior to refitting the pump we removed and filtered over 200litres of fuel and replaced all fuel filters.sticky fuel is becoming a common problem caused by the bio content of the fuel. I have attached a link below to an article published by the international institute of marine surveying which discusses the issue of sticky fuel in more detail.

Refurbished DPA fuel pump fitted due to damage caused by water ingress.After the refurbished pump was installed the fuel tank was emptied and cleaned, the only access to the fuel was by removing the fuel sender unit.
All our waste is collected and ethically recycled.

All our waste mixed fuel, oil and filters are collected and ethically recycled.
