Possibly (definitely) the cutest member of the team... Still waiting on his forklift licence, though.

While he might win on looks, on the shop floor we know safety comes first!

Here at Exact, training is a big part of what we do, making sure every member of the team has the skills and awareness to work safely and confidently. Even our mascot Marley has the basics covered… sitting patiently and staying put.

Jokes aside, in sheet metal fabrication, safety isn’t just a policy, it’s part of the job. The right training, attention to detail and looking out for each other is what keeps everyone going home safe at the end of the day.

This World Day for Safety and Health at Work is a reminder of the standards we stick to every day.

✨ Throwback Thursday ✨

Five years ago today, we picked up the keys to our factory, a moment that felt both exciting and terrifying!
I still remember standing in that spotless, empty space with Jamie, my now husband! Full of big dreams, uncertainty, and determination. We've been on a huge journey over these 5 years, both professionally and personally!
Back then, everything was pristine which is a complete contrast to today, where every mark, machine, corner and scar tells the story of the work we’ve put in.
Not long after, we had our very first laser installed - the one in this photo - and that’s when it all started to feel real. It was the beginning of everything for us, and while it has since been upgraded as we’ve grown, it will always represent where we started.
Since then, it’s been a journey of hard work, challenges, growth, and so many lessons along the way. What started as a simple idea has grown into something we’re incredibly proud of.
Looking back, I’m grateful for how far we’ve come and even more excited for what’s still ahead.
Here’s to taking risks, building something from the ground up, and believing in ourselves, even when things were tough! 🍾

✨ International Women’s Day ✨

Engineering has long been a traditionally male-dominated industry. But more and more women are stepping into these roles and proving that skill, knowledge, and determination are what really matter.

While a lot of my role is office-based, focused on the behind the scenes work that keeps everything running smoothly, creating invoices, cross-checking jobs, and making sure the details match up with the work being done on the shop floor. I don't believe that engineering should stay behind a desk. Whenever the shop floor needs an extra pair of hands, I’m there. Be that checking parts coming off the laser, helping keep a job moving, or tapping thousands of holes.

Because at the end of the day, engineering isn’t just numbers on a screen or steel on a machine, it’s the combination of both that keeps everything moving.
