But for families who rely on free school meals, the school holidays can be particularly challenging. Without free school meals, parents have to make an already stretched budget go even further- and that’s before they can even think about how to keep the kids occupied for weeks.

Thank you to all who have helped us in the past few years. We have decided to take some time off so will not be accepting any donations until September.

If you have an urgent need, and have tried the other local baby banks, then please get in touch through the usual means.

We are looking forward to spending some precious time with our families through the summer

Good morning everyone. Sorry I’ve not posted for ages ... we have been really busy and, as some of you know, I also manage Middlewich & District Foodbank so this is my busiest time of the year.

At FSBB we have decided to stop accepting donations until January to allow us more time to get the Xmas deliveries done in time.

Thanks so much for everyone’s help this year, without your donations we wouldn’t be able to help the families that we do
