Proper replacement of the underside of this tipper bed after what seemed to be a never ending load of bodged patched jobs by someone else. All cut away. Re-braced some of the CTR and edges then some solid 3mm sheets welded in place. Filled all the gaps that weren’t welded to prevent any moisture getting in and rotting again. Then sunshine with a black primer and top coat.

Also had to gas cut away the existing pivot blocks on the chassis as the were seised solid and fabricate some new ones along with a new pivot bar.

Little Manitou bucket repair complete. A couple of cracks started showing in the bucket so they were ground out and re-welded before they had chance to pull the brackets out of alignment. Also added some small wear strips on the outsides and the base to try and keep the wear off the thinner material. Finally treated her to a lick of satin black paint and a BR Fabrication plate just to complete the job!

Couldn’t have asked for nicer weather and better views for the first estate fencing job of the year.

30m of estate fencing all welded on site with round cast ball top posts every 6m and a small picket gate. Lots of brick rubble under ground from previous house making it a little more challenging but we’re very happy with how it turned out.

As of December 2025, B R Fabrication has gained its BS EN 1090-2 certification and UKCA mark.

As of the 1st July 2014, BS EN 1090-2 has been a mandatory requirement for fabricating structural steel work.

BS EN 1090 EXC2 is the standard for most structural steelwork in the UK, covering residential, commercial and light industrial buildings up to 15 floors.

This certification not only covers us, but covers our customers as well, so they know that the work they’re getting is fully compliant and quality assured.

Fun Fact: Structural steelwork used in building/construction must meet BS EN 1090. Using non-accredited supplier can lead to compliance issues and, in some cases, work having to be removed or replaced.
