New Acquisition! Whilst not the big boy we’d have liked to get, this is a big improvement over the last scanner. And for now will help with the non-commercial jobs we do.

This week we’ve been printing a decorative beading for a piece of furniture.

Half of the original was broken/lost and rather than “bodge” a fix, we were asked to help.

A quick scan and a few measurements is all we need to reproduce a complete part.

Hopefully the test fit goes well so we can glue/paint the part and get this piece of furniture back to a presentable state again.

This week’s star print is this little prototype for a family member.

They wanted a simple way to hold a Juliet balcony door in several positions, depending on the temperature/weather.

After a quick sketch with some dimensions, an hour drawing up in CAD, under 2 hours printing….and we have a prototype.

We’ll check back in after a few weeks, make any changes or improvements, and reprint in a white filament to match in with the door frame.

Fiesta mk1 (and maybe 2) interior floorpan plugs….

For those of us who have abandoned looking for a decent carpet, or those who track their car. Keeps the dirt out of the crosscar beam. Made from a flexible TPU for easy install.

A neat little job for to mount a battery management digital gauge in his MG.

As this was a bit of a test fit (a closed V2.0 is definitely on the cards) we decided to use some new ASA from and experiment with a large 0.8mm nozzle.

The ASA printed really well even at a sub 250 degree print and feels super strong.

Although probably too large a layer for most of our work, a good experiment nonetheless.

Today we fixed a Dyson attachment. Obviously a common flaw as we were able to find a model already available on .

1 hour 15 minutes later we had the attachment back up and working. No need to throw away the whole thing and purchase a new attachment. Lets keep as much out of landfill as possible.
