A great addition to the HPC site with the delivery of our HAE Internal Bus Waiting Area, designed to meet the demands of a high-performing operational environment 🚌

This project included the design and construction of a robust concrete base slab and steel shelter structure, engineered to safely withstand pedestrian loads, wind forces, and daily site use, ensuring long-term durability and performance.

Accounting for this high level of daily movement was a key design consideration, ensuring both safety and resilience in a busy operational setting👷👷‍♀️

Working in collaboration with Worsdale Fabrication Ltd. as our subcontractor, the shelters were expertly designed, fabricated and installed to provide a practical, reliable solution for site personnel 🤝

Great to see another high-quality delivery successfully in place 👏

A huge thank you to Somerset Passenger Solutions for hosting a fantastic charity football match at Weston-super-Mare AFC, raising money for Young Lives vs Cancer It was brilliant to see family, friends, colleagues, contractors, and supporters all coming together for such an important cause 💛

Turnbull came away with the win in a thrilling 8–7 match 🏆 but the real victory was raising awareness and around £300 on the day 🙌

Thank you to everyone who played, supported, and donated. Events like this really show the power of teamwork both on and off the pitch 🌟

🚧 May Safety Campaign – PVPI at HPC 🚧

As part of our May safety campaign, the Turnbull team recently took part in an interactive PVPI live demonstration on the CES platform at HPC, delivered in collaboration with our Civils Team and led by Ben Lee-Smith 👏

The exercise was designed to create a realistic working environment where attendees could identify unsafe behaviours, assess risks, and discuss the importance of maintaining safe systems of work around plant operations and pedestrian interfaces.

Key focus areas included:

✅ Effective segregation between plant and pedestrians

✅ Safe plant movements and exclusion zones

✅ PPE compliance and situational awareness

✅ Communication, planning, and personal responsibility

✅ Point of work risk assessments

The session sparked great engagement from everyone involved, with our team demonstrating strong awareness and understanding of the issues presented throughout the exercise 👷‍♂️🚜

A valuable reminder that maintaining a safe workplace relies on continuous observation, communication, and accountability from every individual on site.

Great effort by all involved in delivering and participating in another impactful safety initiative 👏
