Evolution of Tetras AI Water Management Software

We started in a world of paper service reports, handwritten notes and manual processes. Engineers recorded information on paper, reports were filed away, and finding the right information often meant searching through folders and spreadsheets.

We knew there had to be a better way.

That belief led to the development of Tetras. What began as a tool to digitise water sampling has evolved into a complete platform connecting field operations, sampling, reporting and compliance management.

Over the years we've introduced mobile data collection, barcode scanning, instant reporting and cloud based access to information. Each step has been focused on one thing: making life easier for our clients and giving them greater visibility of their water hygiene programmes.

Today, we're collecting and managing more data than ever before. The exciting opportunity now is not just capturing information, but helping users get more value from it.

Artificial Intelligence has the potential to transform how organisations interact with compliance data. Instead of simply recording what has happened, systems can begin to identify trends, highlight risks and provide recommendations that support better decision making.

We're proud of the journey so far and excited about what comes next for Tetras, our clients and the wider water hygiene industry. Join our launch webinars to discover how the new Tetras platform combines compliance management, field operations, and AI-driven insights into one integrated ecosystem.

👇 Some of the Orca copper & silver water treatment systems we’ve installed this year 👇

Behind every install is a real team effort — from Sales and Client Relations supporting our customers from day one, through to our engineers delivering high-quality installations on site 👷‍♂️

These systems are helping our clients take control of water safety — reducing Legionella risk, tackling Pseudomonas challenges, and delivering consistent protection across entire systems 💧

What makes Orca different is its stability and longevity. No corrosion issues, no gas-off like chemical alternatives, and no drop-off in performance across complex networks — just reliable, effective control ⚙️

Proud of the team. Proud of the work. And proud to support our clients with solutions that genuinely make a difference 🙌

🤖 Unlocking AI in Water Management 🤖

We’ve been sitting on years of data - and realised we weren’t using it properly…until we embraced Ai.

For over 30 years, we’ve been collecting water sample results, engineer site data, and system performance metrics across hospitals, universities, and commercial sites. 5 years ago we digitalised our processes with our Tetras cloud based water management system. Since then we have been creating mountains of data.

But like most in water hygiene, we were doing the same thing everyone else does with it: Collect. Report. Move on.

The problem is, reports don’t reduce risk and they don't recognise patterns or forecast issues. They tell you what has happened - not what to do and certainly not what will happen next.

This got us thinking. What if we could leverage Ai to to analyse this mountain of data, advise upon it and forecast with it. That would be powerful 🔥

What if:

- Every sample result came with a clear recommendation?
- Patterns across thousands of samples could highlight risk before it escalates?
- Water hygiene became proactive, not reactive?

That’s what we’ve been building ✅

Using decades of real-world data we have been creating something that doesn’t just report risk — but helps you act on it.

This year we have been integrating Ai systems internally within our Tetras portal and to be honest we have been really impressed. We are now working hard on bringing this power to our clients.

It’s early, but it’s already changing how we think about water hygiene.

Watch this space as their is much more to come 🚀

🚀 We’re growing — and we need great people 🚀

We are growing rapidly, and that brings real opportunity for the right people.

We work in environments where water safety is critical - hospitals, universities, care homes - where the quality of our work directly protects people 💦

We’re hiring:

• Water Hygiene Engineers (North West)
• Water Hygiene Team Leaders (Home Counties)
• Project Managers (Milton Keynes)

We’re looking for people who take ownership, care about standards, and want to progress. In return: real responsibility, clear progression, and a team that backs you.

If that sounds like you then please send your CV to [email protected]

Let’s build something exceptional 👍

🎖️Join us at Defence Procurement Research Technology and Exportability conference (DPRTE) 2026 🎖️

ProEconomy treats the water for a number of Ministry of Defence (MOD) and military installations. We will be exhibiting at the DPRTE conference to showcase our innovative Copper and Silver water treatment technologies.

Our Orca copper and silver water treatment technology has no COSHH requirements, is easy to maintain, transport and install and does not use any dangerous or volatile chemicals, making it ideal for military water treatment applications.

Join us for DPRTE from the 25th to the 26th of March at Farnborough Exhibition centre to find out more.

🏥 Nearly 20 years on site — long-term performance in a live NHS hospital 🏥

Good Hope Hospital has used copper–silver ionisation as part of its water safety strategy for close to two decades. This has not been a short-term intervention, but a long-term control measure embedded within day-to-day estates and IPC practice.

Published monitoring data over multiple years demonstrates sustained control of waterborne pathogens across a complex acute hospital estate:

• Legionella positives reduced from 22% pre-installation to

💧 2026: Building a Safer Future Through Water 💧

As we step into 2026, it’s a great moment to reflect on the importance of the work happening across water safety within the built environment.

Clean, safe water is fundamental — from patient care, to the day-to-day operation of hospitals, estates, hotels, and public buildings.

For us at ProEconomy, 2026 brings fresh opportunities to innovate, collaborate, and push standards higher. With new technologies, exciting innovations and and an incredible team behind us, we can't wait to start.

Here’s to a year of progress, partnerships, and purpose.

🎄Chosen by Our Team. Given with Purpose🎄

Each year at ProEconomy, instead of sending corporate gifts, we choose to give back. What makes this special is that the charities we support are nominated by our team—causes that genuinely matter to the people behind the business.

This Christmas, we’re proud to be supporting four incredible organisations:

▪️ St Lawrence Church & the Tove Benefice – sending an ambulance with vital aid to Ukraine
▪️ Children’s Cancer and Leukaemia Group (CCLG) – supporting children and families through incredibly difficult journeys
▪️ CAP – Christians Against Poverty – doing remarkable work helping vulnerable people break free from debt
▪️ Children’s Hospice South West – providing compassionate care to children with life-limiting conditions and support for their families

These charities reflect the values we care deeply about: compassion, dignity, and protecting life.

Thank you to our team for choosing these causes, and to our clients and partners for supporting us throughout the year.

Wishing everyone a peaceful Christmas and a hopeful New Year. ✨
