Massive repair on this Nilfisk contractor 👨‍🔧

This unit came in with a number of issues caused by long-term wear and lack of maintenance. We carried out a full inspection and completed the following work:

✅ Repaired radiator leak – removed and externally repaired

✅ Burner stripped, cleaned, and fully serviced

✅ Pump completely rebuilt with new seals, valves, and internal components

✅ Engine and pump fluids replaced throughout

✅ All filters renewed

✅ Cracked and worn pipes replaced

✅ Faulty capacitor replaced and engine speed recalibrated

✅ New starter motor fitted and glow plugs checked

✅ Pump engine drive shaft replaced after failure

✅ Fuel tank drained, flushed, cleaned, and refilled with fresh diesel

After completing all repairs, the system was reassembled, tested, and is now running smoothly once again.

Regular preventative maintenance is key to avoiding this level of downtime — small issues caught early save time, cost, and keep your equipment performing at its best.

This 3-phase pressure washer sat idle next to a bath of paint stripper for the past 7 years, after being replaced by one of our newer units.

With the customer now relocating, they needed the extra machine back in service — so we brought it in for a full recommission.

We stripped it down, cleaned up all the original components to keep costs down, and carried out a full internal service:

• New seals and valves
• Fresh oil
• New flow switch
• Pressure gauge and hose connections replaced

The original motor and pump were still solid — cleaned, tested, and now running as they should. A reliable machine brought back to life without unnecessary replacement.

19 years of daily use, and this Nilfisk Neptune 7 is still going strong 💪

It came into the workshop running at just 60 bar, with a leaking pump, no burner, and a lazy unloader. We gave it a full overhaul, fitted a VB9 unloader modification, and got it back up to 175 bar with a clean, consistent burn.

This machine has been maintained by us from day one — a great example of how proper servicing keeps your equipment performing at its best, year after year.
