Through our partnership with Ecologi, we’re supporting a project distributing fuel-efficient cookstoves across Kenya, helping to reduce emissions and improve everyday cooking practices.

In Kenya, around 9 million people rely on biomass for cooking. Traditional stoves are often inefficient, leading to high fuel use, deforestation, and indoor air pollution. Cleaner cookstoves help reduce the amount of wood and charcoal needed, lowering greenhouse gas emissions and easing pressure on forests.

They also reduce the time spent collecting fuel - often by women and children - while improving indoor air quality and supporting better health and living conditions.
