With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved colleague and dear friend, Alan Lewis Bekkers. Alan passed away on Saturday 22nd March 2025, surrounded by his loving wife, Trudy, and their children, Amber and Matthew.

Alan was not only a respected leader but also a cherished friend to many. As the Managing Director of Drakefield - a business founded by his father, Lou Bekkers, he carried forward a proud legacy. When Drakefield joined the EBS Aftermarket Group in 2017, Alan continued as Managing Director, contributing his expertise and unwavering dedication to both the company, his colleagues, and the industry.

His passing is an immense loss to our business, the industry, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Alan’s warmth, integrity, and friendship will be deeply missed!

Our heartfelt condolences go out to Trudy, Amber, Matthew, and the entire family during this difficult time. We will share details of the funeral service as soon as they become available.
