This year I’ve had some mind blow moments, but last night was next level.
Last night I went to the premier of the short film I worked on a couple of months back
The Pen That Will Not Bow
It’s a period drama about Voltaire (written and played by Florian Hencher ) and Adrienne
Lecouvreur (played by Georgia Hirst ).
I was on set for the day doing gallery stills (photos for the poster etc)
A couple of weeks ago the poster came out. That’s right. My photos on a FILM POSTER.
I walked into the theatre in Soho House and my photos were ON THE BIG SCREEN!
Sorry can I just say that again…
MY PHOTOS WERE ON THE BIG SCREEN!
Mental.
Everyone from the film was milling about drinking bubbles from saucers until it was ready for us to go and watch the film for the first time.
I cannot explain how wonderful it was to sit and watch something that you watched be filmed.
I was beaming from ear to ear while welling up.
The film finished and everyone cheered.
The credits rolled and
MY NAME WAS ON THERE!
😭😭😭😭
WHAT!
Afterwards I ran to my gorgeous friend and client Cherene (who is SO wonderful) and excitedly shouted this to her.
Already knowing full well that this was a thing, she went on to tell me that I’ve now got my very own profile on IMDB!!
ARGHHHGHHHGGCH
I have always been a massive film lover. Maybe even more than music. So this is something I couldn’t have even dreamt of!
I keep saying to people that I feel big things are about to happen for me…I can’t even imagine what’s next!
Cherene, thank you so much for giving me this. I genuinely love you with all my heart.
To all of you, thank you for always supporting me and just being bloody good cheerleaders!
And to me…I’m so fcking proud of you, especially after everything. You’re amazing and never forget it.
